1969 Mustang
This Mustang was my 2008 project. It is a 1969 Daytona Metallic Blue coupe. It was equipped with a 302 High Performance V-8, with Edelbrock Performance manifold and new Performance Holley carb, headers, Pertronix electronic ignition, mild cam, power steering & brakes, a C-4 transmission and no Bondo. New black interior with deluxe console. The hood scoop is functional and had working directional signals on the back of the scoop. Factory A/C with new style compressor and every gauge worked including the window washer. It took a lot of time and many new parts along with some excellent painting by Mills Bros. Paint & Body shop (Tampa) to bring her to show condition. This one was a real eye catcher and a strong runner that won a number of trophies including two Peoples Choice Awards.
Note directional signals on rear of hood scoop. ( Also shown in dash ) They gathered quite a bit of attention when stopped at a red light at night and the cars next to you could see the hood scoop flashing.
Not sure when I will work on another Mustang but this one was a lot of fun. The Daytona Blue Metallic paint and detailed engine certainly got a lot of attention!
Sold to a Mustang fan from Texas.
