A Little Work For A Friend

This is a project I worked on for a friend who's restaurant, the Conga Cafe, (excellent Latin food) was a former sponsor of a Classic Car show. As you can see this is an MG clone on a VW chassis that needed a little TLC. I also did a small amount of mechanical work on it.

I was surprised to find as I began to work on the car that it was actually very well constructed and the exterior parts were of high quality and fit. Many of my neighbors who stopped by to see the car thought it was an original MG. I only had one day with the car but I feel it came out ok. This is a great little car to cruise in; gets its share of attention and very economical to operate. Hard to beat that combo.

  1. You mentioned the necessity of reading the user manual to get the most out of your product, and then you have a nit/nasty complaint about the product being in demo mode.. Elizabeth Meza
